From Rick Templeton:

I told my mom the other day about this web site and in doing so I dropped your name.
Now she is sure she knows your mom. Question - Did your mom run a beauty shop in San Tome during the 50's and was your dad in drilling?
If so ...well they know each other!

Mom is Betty Jean Templeton ..Dad is Jim Templeton ...he was an engineer.
We lived in Oficina outside of San Tome I have two sisters Nancy & Debbie.

if true ...Mom sends her greetings.

She will be 80 this fall ...still hanging in there ( some health problems of late and that's how she got me to move back to Houston the first of the year from San Francisco ...some move! ...back after 20 years ...wow) ...

It feels just like yesterday I was running wild all over Oficina and San Tome. The time has moved on but the kids in my mind's eye are all still just kids ...I sometimes feel the company did us all a low blow by sending us all off to high school and later to college with no way to keep in contact with each other ...so the web site is worth its weight in gold. The other day I threw out an e-mail and had a hit! It was Nick Ryder ...it was good to hear from him. I would enjoy finding Bobby Fisher and Katy Johnson?

Well anyway ...if this sparks something from the past let me know! Till later ...Thanks for your time
